Tigers are on the endangered list; once free to explore the wild but now confined to controlled environments. Obliquely speaking, is fine art next on the endangered list? With culture, history, freedom on the downside tilt, will art go the way of the tiger? Time has the answers.
Human figure drawing and portraits of live models are my core art background. The paintings of Eugène Delacroix and Franz Marc are my earliest influences, capturing the spirit of the tiger. For my personal flair, I choose “The Tiger” as my artistic statement. The Tiger is my springboard to create impressionistic color balance, movement in composition, and style in my work.
Will my Tiger paintings become as synonymous as Warhol and his soup cans?
